Hysterectomy & bleeding ..still have your ovaries ..your in the menopause
Question :-I am 54yrs old I had a hysterectomy when I was 30yrs old. I still have my ovaries I suffer really serious night sweats for the past approx 5yrs. More recently I had blood loss that was treated with pessary hormone treatment. No further problems. How long does this go on for?
Reply :- Blood loss from where ?..if you had a hysterectomy….do you have a cervix ! have you had a smear ! we would advise that you get this checked out, with both your ovaries you will get menopausal symptoms, lasting perhaps 2-5 years ….again seek medical advice

my friend is 53 years old and hysterectomy has been done to her when she was 40 years old. she fears to have intercourse since she had hys.
can she have sex without any contersaftive . can she be pregnet if her husband do not use any condom? she has these fears and put of from sex. would u please let me know so i can help her out. thanks.
