Healthy Skin

Question:-I’ve never had much trouble with my skin but at 50 I find I have breakouts of lots of small spots on my chin and area between mouth and nose.Any advice on specific skin care /supplements etc would be appreciated. I eat fairly well ! Not taking any medication.

Reply:- Skin is dependant on a healthy diet  rich in vitamins minerals and trace elements.  Essential vitamins around the menopause are Vitamin A, B, B1,2, 3, 6, 12…  C,and E.  Minerals include Calcium, iron, zinc  and Magnesium

 Taking  a daily supplement of Vitamins & Minerals is advisable

Always cleanse and moisturise the skin daily, protect from wind and sun, using a sun block or sunscreen
