Brazil nuts are associated with Christmas time, but eaten all year around they are an  excellent source of Selenium,  Magnesium and Thiamine,

The Brazil nut trees can reach a height of 60 metres and over 2 metres diameter, known for  over 1000 years of age.The hard case or pod contains lots of seeds,that can be  either eaten raw, roasted or salted.

Its high selenium content (about 2,500 times the amount found in other nuts) is a powerful antioxidant which has been found to slow the ageing process, stimulate the immune system and protect against heart disease and certain forms of cancer.

Like all nuts Brazil nuts are an excellent source of protein and fibre,  popular source of nutrition and minerals for vegetarians, they also have a good profile of other  minerals including zinc,magnesium, f phosphorous, copper and iron

Brazil nut oil is frequently found in shampoos ,conditioners, soaps and skin lotions.


Ideal to accompany drinks in the festive season, desserts ice cream or just on there own
