A Positive Approach
Question:- Thank you for a very useful website, you have hit the nail right on the head, I have been going through the menopause for 4 years and gradually getting more and more joint pain. My knees were the first to go and I’m waiting for two knee replacements, due to old injuries.
I have pain in my big toe on my right foot, pain in my right buttock/hip and pain in fingers and middle of my back. This week its my jaw which has become painful , thought it was a tooth in trouble but the dentist assures me the tooth is fine after an x-ray.
I was taking Diclofenic and lots of pain killers but I have stopped taking them, they didn’t help. Been taking Glucosimine for 8 years. I read an article about Collagen recently so for the past 2 months I have taken that each night. I lead a very active life , walk dogs twice a day in the countryside, a big garden to look after and a holiday home to sort out weekly, and I help with an animal charity kennels. No time to feel sorry for myself, need to keep moving otherwise I seize up.Your diet looks good I do eat a balanced diet but the supplements you suggest I will start asap. Let hope it all passes in time. I am only 56 years old.
